The City of Greater Dandenong’s new municipal building in central Dandenong includes a public square with seating and a giant screen as well as a regional library and council offices.

The new library spans over two levels and includes meeting rooms and community spaces.

  • Large distinct children’s area with flexible areas to allow for large scale programs with Children’s multi-media
  • Flexible training and program rooms with glass partitions. This is so spaces can be used for public access and program spaces.

  • $7 million – Commonwealth Government (Regional Development Fund)
  • $1.25 – Victorian State Government (Living Libraries and Community Development Grant)
